A protest poster series of three posters belonging to the brand “Make a Change.” "Make a Change" is an organization that uses its platform and donations to help a list of social justice issues.
In creating the logo, I aimed for imagery that resembles power and simplicity that can be placed in the corner of the posters. I used a strong bold sans serif “M”, using the negative space to create a protest fist, a symbol often recognized with many protest movements.
Power through design.
I chose to also utilize the type as pattern and artwork, repeating phrases, utilizing texture, graphics, hierarchy, and a limited color palette of red, black, and white, all to create a sense of urgency, power, and visual interest. The posters also have smaller, readable paragraphs of type that provide more information on the selected issue.
